Construction Roundtable of NJ - Scholarship Application (pdf format)
CRT Scholarship Award Recipients

Specifically, the CRT was established to inform, educate and promote the Owner's appreciation and understanding of the forces within the construction industry, which affect cost.

Among the objectives of the CRT are:

  • Encourage apprenticeship and training programs
  • Advance the construction and maintenance industries
  • Educate our members about trends and issues in new technology

Further, it is the CRT's belief that an educated workforce is a key component to achieving these objectives. The scholarship program was formed to specifically further these objectives. The purpose of the CRT Scholarship program is to recognize and advance outstanding Community College students and other rising juniors who will be pursuing a career in a construction-related field at a four-year New Jersey college or university.

CRT, in conjunction with sponsors, has awarded scholarships ranging from $2,000 - $3,000 per year for two years toward tuition. Since its inception in 1999, the CRT has awarded fifty-two year scholarships of $2,500 each. Additionally, all applicants are reviewed by the CRT members for potential internship programs.
